Childhood Statelessness & Education

The project scope with ISI (Institute of Statelessness and Inclusion in Amsterdam) includes developing a visual identity for an initiative of a Stateteless School.

STATELESS SCHOOL is a month of action on stateless children's right to education in November 2023, that aims to 1) raise awareness about childhood statelessness and the denial of education, and 2) empower children and youth to contribute to conversations about solutions to drive positive change.

Through a series of joined-up national and international events and activities - many directly involving children and youth - ISI and national partners across all regions will generate much-needed discourse and action on this issue.

At a time when the United Nations strives to revitalize international political commitments on inclusive education through its Transforming Education initiative, STATELESS SCHOOL will be a strategic moment to galvanize attention, support, and momentum towards realizing every stateless child's right to an education while promoting their right to a nationality and will act as a springboard for future collaborative work at international, regional and national levels.
